I’m lucky to have a friend of mine who is an interior designer with a husband who builds decks and fences. I’m one of those people who know nothing about design and can’t build a stack of cards. If you don’t know what a post cap is you are not alone. I didn’t know what it was until about two years ago when I noticed that my fence posts were starting to split. When I called a fencing company they asked me if the posts had caps on them and I had no idea what they were talking about even when he tried to explain it; so I Googled it and now know what a fence post cap is.
